Short description
This bronze of Marcus Aurelius, from the Auriti Collection, is a very faithful reproduction of the monument on the Capitoline hill. It replicates the upper part of the marble base, including the small Michelangolesque limbs. The artist replicates the monument with great skill, and given its proximity to the original, can be dated to late 16th century Rome.
