Short description
This vase is decorated eight panels, each framed by a rope motif that runs down to the base, which is decorated with foliage patterns. The rope motif is repeated above and below the lid and forms two handles at the top. The vase was not fused but each panel is linked to the other parts. The manner in which it is made means dating it accurately is problematic.
