Short description
This Venus was moulded in a style typical of Giambologna: the female figure is “isolated”, with a “serpentinata” twisting body and her head and arms pointing in opposite directions. Though the work may have been conceived by Giambologna, it is very modest in its execution, and was probably made by his studio.
