Short description
The three kneeling youths in this candlestick, which is imaginatively but hastily executed, are copied from Roccatagliata’s characterizations of childhood. The faces of the three children that decorate the shaft, which is the most precise and effective part of the bronze, have been faithfully reproduced from other works of Roccatagliata.
