Short description
The tiny bronze depicts Jesus in the guise of a Paschal Lamb. As is repeatedly declared in the New Testament, ‘Jesus is the Lamb of God’, and as a result he is frequently figured as a Lamb on the walls of churches. There are great number of quotations and comments in the texts of the Church Fathers.
